Release notes for the SyMAP platform: what shipped, where to find it, and why it matters.
SyMAP 2.0
August 2026
Our biggest release yet. SyMAP 2.0 takes the platform from pricing simulation to full pricing strategy: a fourth MFN model for voluntary agreements, a forecasting layer that joins prices to revenue and patients, and an optimisation engine that searches the strategy space for you.
The headlines
Voluntary MFN Agreements
A fourth MFN model, built for the voluntary agreements manufacturers are now negotiating. Model an agreement the way it is actually structured, and see what it does to your US revenue before you sign anything.
- Established drugs follow the Medicaid route, new launches the prospective route, assigned automatically, with overrides where you need them
- Set your own agreement start date, participation timing, and which channels are in scope
- Compare revenue under voluntary, CMS-model, and no-policy paths side by side

Revenue & Patient Forecasting
Pricing decisions finally meet their revenue consequences in one place: multi-year projections across US channels and international markets, built directly from your pricing scenarios.
- Prices flow straight into the forecast: no copying numbers between models
- Every run can write its own first-draft analysis: the drivers, the risks, and what changed since last time
- Patient forecasting grounds the volume line in real epidemiology, with a ready-made library of uptake, erosion, and persistence curves

Optimizer Studio
Don’t just test scenarios: search them. Give Optimizer Studio a goal and the levers you are willing to pull, and it explores the combinations for you, then shows its working.
- Levers include launch timing and order, international prices, and US pricing choices
- A waterfall chart breaks down exactly why the winning strategy wins, no black box
- Find the tipping points, and re-test past winners when the market moves
